Our Rideau Canal is open - from Dows Lake to the NAC!
The Rideau Canal — designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site — becomes the world’s largest skating rink every winter! Having lived in Ottawa all of my life, there is nothing like bundling up the family and heading down for a good skate on a sunny winter day. Winterlude is just around the corner, running for 3 weekends in February, starting February 6th. Check out the activities listings at
